“ Amazing place for any time of day. I had the oyster platter and some wimpy burgers. Everything was cooked excellent and no tummy issues after eating over a dozen oysters. Service was easily accessible and very helpful with our orders ”

“ Went for a drive up to Newport, Depot Bay, and Lincoln City with my friend to have lunch and admire our mighty Pacific Ocean. My final spot for a late lunch was Shucker's, Oyster Bar. My friend says, "it's just a little dive bar, but the food is so good!" When I opened the door I was instantly welcomed with warmth, laughter, and good cheer. The bar sits in the center of sitting booths and tables. Everyone is so cheerful, it makes me feel right at home. I order a Seafood Platter, Coleslaw, Garlic Bread, and Vodka Oyster shooters! My food was delicious, I especially enjoyed the fried Clam Strips. The Oysters were plump and perfectly ocean salty. What a great place to hang out and listen to some live or jukebox music. A great little place for a fun date night or Fun Sunday! Bathrooms are available, no masks are required, and plastic/cash is accepted. ”

“ Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning during a holiday weekend and they had no wait! Definitely a small little hole in the wall spot with home style cooking. Everyone enjoyed their meals for the most part, the chicken fried steak was definitely questionable. Super chewy. No one liked it, the gravy on top was really good though. After we were served our plates, the waitress would practically run away before you could request anything like condiments and then didn't come back to check in on things until she was ready for us to pay. We were happy to enjoy a reasonably priced and quick breakfast ”

“ Shucker’s is the kind of divey place where you feel the jukebox stops when you walk in. This is a true locals hangout. And totally worth it. The crowd is fun and know what the skinny is on the local scene. The iced tea is fresh brewed and 1.50. Get one to go as you mooch around Old Town. The oysters are fresh and salty. Delicious. The onion rings are the real deal, a nice healthy (!?) basket delivered too hot to eat. The drinks are strong enough to put the hair on your chest. The crew said they had a great breakfast. Maybe next time! ”

“ Wow! I just had their oyster stew - and it was fantastic!!! It's new on their menu, so I gave it a try - it's creamy with some crushed veggies - and the plentiful oysters are very mild - you don't even have to be an oyster fan. They said you get 10, but I had more ;) I would go out of my way for this, and I'll be back! ”
